Last month, which seems like a lifetime ago at this point, while in Missouri for the first leg of our move, and finally with George in tow, I was thrilled Andy took me up on my puppy sitting offer, and dropped Yuna off for the day! I photographed Yuna as bobbly, bundle of puppy fur last fall, but hadn’t gotten to spend any time with her since. She’s a tri-color Corgi, about 10 months old now? Gosh, time sure does fly! To say George was equally thrilled with her arrival would be a tremendous understatement lol He sure does love the dog park, and other dogs in general, but I’ve never seen two dogs wrestle for so many hours, around six actually, with only a brief, maybe half hour combined time of breaks in there. I had planned to spend the day editing and blogging, but didn’t get anything productive accomplished in the tornado of flying hair, since their chosen wrestling mat was on the bed, more specifically, on top of me! Of course I could’ve gone to sit at the table, largely ignoring them, but what fun would that have been? I’d much rather spend my day rolling around with dogs, especially when they include adorable puppies! Not only is Yuna an obvious cutie, but she’s also super smart, and who doesn’t want to spend the day with such a dog?!
I’ve gone back and forth how to do this blog, in one part or two, because I took so many photos. Even though Georgeaversary has over 50 images, that one was a special post! A single blog about the day wasn’t even in my mind at the start, but I think I’m going to go ahead and split it up. This one is mostly Yuna, because why not? These are the pauses in the play, but leading up to my favorites right before naptime—still to come in part II.
