Ok, so when I split the Yuna the Corgi puppy sitting blog in two (the second part I have yet to post), I didn't think it'd be a common occurance to have so many photos I wanted to share, but with regular visits to various dog parks, and beaches, and often camera in hand, I was left with well over 1,000 images to sort through, and narrowing it down with so many great dogs, has been quite the undertaking! So, for loading purposes, this too will be two parts, it really could be three.
This was our first visit to the massive James Island Dog Park a few weeks ago, and we had no idea it is so sprawling! Just a moment after letting George through the gate, I realized the entire area isn't fenced, but bordered by shrubs and water, and snatched him up in a panic. The water contains him, but I don't see how many dogs don't venture right through without hesitation, and on to freedom on the other side! I don't recall most dog's names, when I'm at this park I don't chat much, I like to observe and hopefully capture the action! To be honest, as an introvert, even though I don't mind it in the moment, chatting at the park several days in a row is exhausting to me. Anyhow, I love this park, because the water access sure makes for some fabulous, and wacky shots! We were also shocked to watch George bound right into the water! Prior to this day, there had been no indication of him voluntarily exploring water at all, yet we watched in amazement as he not only rushed in, but rolled around, and just chilled out lol We want our dogs to love water, so this was a fantastic discovery! Also on that day, old man Jake taught a young dog named Romeo, who was very unsure, not going beyond where he could touch, to swim and fetch! You'll see below, he's the shepherd mix looking dog with a ball. Of course my attention is mainly focused on action involving our dogs—this one is mostly Jake, and George, but Part II in addition will also mainly feature a gorgeous dark red mahogany fawn Boxer named Belle, who was zooming and splashing around! It's no secret I'm partial to Boxers, having had four of them take a part of my heart, and I couldn't stop aiming at her! But, until then, enjoy all of the other great dogs that found their way into my sights this day!
